Author's POV

Isha is walking behind aarav, more like dancing and hopping,trying to catch up with his walking speed. He is so tall and walks to fast with his long legs. She finally reached to where he was. Aarav felt her presence and looked at the sideways, isha was walking beside, smiling with her 32 teeth shining.
Aarav rolled eyes, and strolled further towards his OPD.
Isha- yaaaa!! wait for me
she walked more and reached the OPD. The nurse was already present. She was all silent, and looking down. Aarav was busy checking patient's file

Isha, being isha, started talking to the nurse present.

Isha- Hey!! I am intern isha

the nurse looked up and said

Nurse-(smiling) I am alisha

Isha- cute hairstyle. The braid is suiting you so much. (She said, amile never leaving her face)

Alisha couldn't help but smile back

alisha- Thanks, ms Isha.

Aarav's eyes, which were till now looking at the information present in the material, were now consuming the facial features of isha. Isha wasn't the most beautiful woman present in the world, but something about her seemed to consume Dr Aarav's attention. Otherwise, is there even a chance Dr Aarav would get distracted by some girl, especially while checking out the surgery for the day.

And, isha was talking more to nurse alisha, smilig and giggling softly. The more she smiled, the more Dr Aarav appeared to be hynotized.

And, then something snapped in Dr Aarav. He coughed, catching Isha and Alisha's attention.

Alisha's smile faded, but isha was still smiling.

Dr Aarav looked at the file, and then outside, and then at alisha. He looked at anything but isha. It was like if he woud look t her more, he might lose himself.

Aarav- We have one surgery today. Intern Isha will be accompanying me, you may prepare the OT. And ask the other nurses to check the patient present.

Alisha nodded and went.

Aarav stood up and was walking out

Isha- Which surgery we will be performimg?

Aarav- It is just small tumor in the girl's head. I hope you learnt about it in your PG, right?

Isha nodded, and went out to get into the scrubs.

The OT was being prepared, and the young girl was present in the room.

Isha went inside and smiled brightly t the girl.

Isha- hey hey!

the girl- (timidly)hey.

Isha- How re u feeling? Scared? Excited? Nervous?

The girl- (she started crying, and said) I am so scared will I be alive?

the girl had tears streaming doen her cheeks, her nose watering. Isha went toward the girl, and pulled her in a hug. The girl hugged her back. The anesthisiologist and the nurses were looking at them. Isha gestured them to waut for a while.

They nodded.

Isha- what isn your name darling?

The girl- shikha!

Isha- shikha.. what a beautiful name you got!! Why are you so scared?

The girl- dr..

Isha- dont be formal, call me didi

Shikha- didi..why me? Why I got tthis disease? And what if the surgery failed?

Isha- Shikha.. Sometimes we dont know the why behind any of our situation,.. but you know what is the good thing? The tumore is still benign, so we can remove it easily. It wont cause much complications. And it is trying to make you braver my baby..

Shikha- what if..what if it failed?

Isha- It wont' Trust me, I am your doctor. And you know, my hot professor is gonna perform the surgery on you.. He is evry talented.

Shikha- I dont wana die...

Before isha could say something, dr Aarav walked in and said

Aarav-We are doing this so you can live. stop sulking and start.

Isha got angry, and said

Isha- Dr arav, she is just a child, don't be harsh on her

Dr Aarav got quiet! He was scared, as appeared

all the nurses were shocked! No one.. no one can ever take control like tht. But there she was, the young doctor, who just came, first dared to touch him,and then cross him out!

Isha- dont mind him,.. he thinks just because he is hot he can speak anything.

shikha chuckled. Dr aarav, bit his lips and looked down to avoid blushing

Isha then said- Which musician u like?

Shika- Taylor Swift

Isha- OMG!!!!!! A Swiftiee!! I can't be happier!!!

Shikha- No way, you also like taylor swift?

Isha-I have 5 bracelets, and you will b getting one!

Dr aarav, do you like taylor swift?

Dr aarav looked up, a bit serioud

Aarav- I only listen to real music

Isha and shikha lookeed at each other

isha- typical men..

anyways, we will be listening and vibing on hr albums after your surgery!!

Shikha smiled back

Isha- u ready now? All the best darling

Shikha looked down, and smiled again.

Finally,she was given anesthesia.

Dr Aarav started working on the surgery. He was observing at Isha's curious eyes, and steady hands, helping him more than anyone ever could.

Finally, after few hour the surgery was done. Dr aarav and isha were out, and washing up/

Aarav- What gave you this idea?

Isha- what?

Aarav- This...talking to a patient?

Isha- You know, it ws a big day for her. She needed this. MEntal state befre anything crucial is precious na.. so I did it.

Isha smiled

Aarav couldn't help, but smil back

but he quickly closed his mouth. What is happening to him?

Isha- I am so hungry rn... I will grab something. DO you wanna eat, sir?

Aarav nodded in a no.

Isha threw peace sign and went out. Something hitted in Aarav and he started following her to the canteen.

A few juniors and 2 other interns were present. Isha smiled at them, and managed to get a seat

Isha had bought her home prepared food, it was Paneer And Paratha

One junior was looking fondly at her food, and Isha saw it

He was gulping down maggi

Isha- Come here..

The junior got scared but went, thinking he would be ragged now

Isha- What's yor name?

Junior- Pr..pratyush

Isha- I asked your name, didn't bring you to guillotine. Sit beside me

Pratyush sat. Isha made a bite with her paratha and fed him.m

Isha- I made it, is it good>

Pratyush couldn't help but smile. Others wre watching too. She called everyone.

They all jumped on her lunch. Dr aarav was viewing it from a distance.

He went there too, and the whole crowd got silent.

They all went a little side..

Isha was shocked at the change, but she smiled at aarav

and went toward him, with her lunch. She hd a few bites remining, and she bought one bite close to his mouth.

He was looking at her face, and then at the bite. She was keen to feed him one bite.

He couldn't control but took one bite. The whole crowd was shocked again, and some were too shocked to even eat. They were just looking at aarav and isha

aarav then looked at them, and they strted their own works

Aarav- Isha, come upstairs after eating

he said and went

Everyone, including aarav, were shocked on what was happening. Meanwhile, Isha was smiling thinking how beautigul the new beginning is!!!!
